We use no Google Analytics, no equivalent analytics tool, no advertising pixel and no tracking share button. No cookie is written by waxym.com, whether or not you browse the site.
The local storage used for your preferences
Two pieces of information are saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage). These are not cookies: they are never sent to a server and stay on your device.

These fall under trackers strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user: they are exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and the CNIL guidelines.
The Google Maps case
The contact section offers a map provided by Google. Because loading it would let a third party set trackers, it only loads after you explicitly click. Until you activate it, no request is sent to Google.
If you choose to display it, the processing is then governed by Google’s privacy policy. You can always look the address up in an external map instead of loading the embedded frame.
Clearing this information
You can delete the data stored by this website at any time from your browser settings, under the option to clear browsing data or site data. The website will keep working: it will simply fall back to the preferences of your operating system and browser.
